I want to be liked. I want to be remembered. I want to have had happy memories. I want to have changed someone’s life in such a positive way, that maybe we don’t even know each other, but my actions helped them see themselves for the good person they really are. I wanted to see my own little girl, take her first steps. Or never want to put her down because I never wanted to miss out on one second of her perfect baby smell. And when I went, it wouldn’t need to be said, it would be known: she was loved.

I guess it results in having a mom who has a touring exhibit at the women’s art museum, and a daughter with an extremely successful television show she writes and stars in called: “girls.” If we all had artsy parents I wonder what the world would be like?
